Getting started on Das Lab Workstations

on own computer (if listening to :2 desktop)

ssh -L XXXXX:localhost:5902 -C -N -l USERNAME IPADDRESS

XXXXX = port open on your own computer, eg 59000

YYYY = port open for your personal VNC, likely 590X

on favorite vnc client connect to localhost:XXXXX

The view-only password is daslab, password, port, username, and ipadress should be given to you.
